Connected TV, often discussed alongside OTT, is video advertising delivered through internet-connected television and streaming applications rather than a traditional linear broadcast schedule.
Why planners care
The living room still has attention. The difference is addressability: campaigns can be planned around audiences and geographies instead of a single program break. That does not make CTV magic. It makes it a channel that needs creative built for the sofa, not a vertical video stretched to fill a screen.
When it belongs in the mix
Brand launches, hospitality, automotive, luxury retail and professional services with a clear geographic or demographic target often benefit. A local restaurant with a three-day offer usually does not—unless the creative and the landing path are unusually disciplined.
Creative still decides the outcome
A fifteen-second spot with no sound design and a website that cannot load on a phone will waste a premium impression. AETV Media plans CTV only when the film, the destination and the budget can support the environment.
We do not promise inventory we cannot access or results we cannot measure. We promise a grown-up conversation about whether streaming television is the right room for the message.
